CVS has Always Infinity Pads for $10.79 shelf price. Word on the street is that they are actually an unadvertised deal this week, ringing up at $4.99. CVS 101

We don't have a CVS too close to us so I never made a point to go until recently. I was amazed at all that you can find at this store! Here is my "101" on getting started at CVS.

FIRST STEP: go to CVS and sign up for their CVS card. You can do this right at the front desk or the pharmacy counter if there is a wait up front. You can also do this on-line but it takes a few days to receive the card in the mail as opposed to getting it that same day in store.

SECOND STEP: Grab the CVS weekly flier when you head into the store OR look at the weekly ad online to prepare for your trip

As you look at the ad, you will notice deals that talk about "extra care bucks". For example, in this weeks flyer, it states Dry Idea and Right Guard deodorant on sale 2 for $5 with cvs card. When you do this deal, you also get $2 extra bucks . If you buy these products, you will pay the $5 up front and then when the receipt prints off you will see on the bottom $2 ECB's (extra care buck's) to use for your next transaction. You need to hang on to that receipt because those ECB's are your cash for next time!!

The whole point is to build up your ECB's so that you will NOT be paying cash out of pocket on future purchases. At CVS, you can stack manufacturer coupons and ECB's to make items very cheap, if not free!! Sometimes CVS also gives $$ off coupons (in the newspaper, online or sometimes at the end of your receipts).

Take the above deal from this week's flyer and say you have coupons. Dry Idea $1.00 off and maybe $0.50 off of Right Guard. You also received a $4 off any $10 coupon when you signed up for your CVS card. This is how it would look:

1 Dry Idea for $2.50
1 Right Guard for $2.50
- $1 Dry Idea Coupon
-$0.50 Right Guard coupon

You would then also receive $2.00 extra care bucks on your receipt printout for next purchase
